Abstract

Eucalyptus Essential oils has a beneficial properties as fungicidal, bactericidal, insecticidal and other therapeutic properties. The result also showed that the best medium for growth of isolated fungi was PDA followed by SDA, because  they provide a number of nutrient that are necessary for the growth of fungi,  Potatoes are a great ingredient to media like the widely used Potato Dextros Agar (PDA). These results show that the effects of the essential oils on the tested organisms increase with concentration, with the lowest radial growth recorded at 100 percent on account of A. niger (29.50 mm) and the highest at 25% on account of A. fumigatus (68.17 mm). When compared to the control, all treatments had a considerable impact on the tested fungi growth. The results also showed that A. fumigatus had a mean radial growth of (57.683 mm), whereas A. nige, with a mean radial growth of (52.583 mm), was the more sensitive fungus. A. flavus came in second with a mean radial growth of (55.042 mm). A. fumigatus had the lowest mean of inhibition percentage (43.90%) and A. niger had the greatest mean (47.83%).
