Peer Review Process

Every submitted article will be independently reviewed by three reviewers. The review process applies the Double-Blind method. The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. After being reviewed, there will be four kinds of editor decision based on the reviewers’ recommendation:

Expected Timeframe for the Peer Review Process

The entire peer review process typically takes 8–12 weeks, depending on the complexity of the manuscript, the availability of reviewers, and the number of revision rounds required. Here’s a breakdown:

  • Initial screening: 1–2 weeks

  • Reviewer assignment and review period: 4–6 weeks

  • Author revisions: 2–4 weeks

  • Final decision and publication: 1–2 weeks
