Abstract

Many celestial occurrences, including solar flares and the solar corona and modifications to the magnetosphere of Earth, are thought to be caused by the reconnection process. This process occurs in highly conductive plasmas. One of the candidate places for this process is the three-dimensional zero points, in this process, stored energy is transformed into new types of energy

Aims. Magnetic reconnection at a single null point: influence of magnetic field symmetry.

Methods. We discussed a stable solution to several of the resistivity MHD formulations.

Results. The field's asymmetry (k) may impact the propagation area dimensions and rate of reconnection in a variety of ways, depending on the parameters we choose.
